Yoshukan Karate
The translation of Yo/Shu/Kan is: Training hall of continuous improvement and development. The Yoshukan style of martial art offers superior advantages to the student based upon it's comprehensive curriculum, focus on proper body mechanics, and depth of applications. Furthermore, the emphasis of the association is to ensure that the application of technique is of equal importance as the demonstration of technique.
The association intends to accomplish it's goals by establishing an international standard of excellence and retaining the services of YKA professors to develop it's members. Naturally, the association will continue to train and grade it's members based upon their understanding of the technical manual and association curriculum.
The intention of the association is to provide equal and unbiased instruction regardless of race, religion, gender or nationality. All students will be afforded the same opportunity for development, examination and fair and balanced feedback on their performance.
